Professional Experience

Working as a curatorial intern, my daily tasks were centered in artist research, art handling, and archival organization. My research was used to write collection spotlights and object justifications, contributing to the structure of exhibitions and academic courses at The Block Museum of Art (Northwestern University)

Collection Spotlight writing for artist Karl Wirsum, research conducted as a Curatorial Intern, Block Museum at Northwestern University (2025)

Collection Spotlight writing for artist Lee Godie, research conducted as a Curatorial Intern, Block Museum at Northwestern University (2025)

As a gallery assistant, working at Woman Made Gallery (Chicago) and Goldman Global Arts (Miami) my responsibilities included managing artist relationships, art shipping and handling, art instillation, sales, community outreach and fundraising, event planning, and donor management.

Working at Goldman Global Arts (Miami) I contributed extensive research and conducted interviews with international artist, DEIH, to plan his solo exhibition at the Wynwood Walls. (2023)

Working at Woman Made Gallery (Chicago) I was tasked with art shipping and handling duties, instillation, gallery upkeep, and donor outreach to ensure the smooth openings for several exhibitions. Most importantly, for the Connectivity exhibition (2024) I was involved in directly researching and communicating with artists to ensure their work was correctly represented and celebrated.
